LiVecchi’s Gun Sales offering personal sales NICS background checks
We proudly offer NICS background checks on personal gun sales.
Cost is $10 each for buyer and seller.
The following is what is needed to process the background check:
Sale of a handgun:
- NYS Drivers License (from both the buyer and the seller)
- NYS Pistol Permit Number, Date of Issue, Issuing Judge, County of Issue (from both the buyer and the seller)
- Address and phone number for both the buyer and seller
- Gun information including Make, Model, Serial #, revolver or pistol, caliber, barrel length
Sale of a long gun (rifle or shotgun):
- NYS Drivers License (from both the buyer and the seller)
- Address and phone number for both the buyer and seller
- Gun information including Make, Model, Serial #, revolver or pistol, caliber, barrel length
Only the purchaser of the gun needs to have a background check done.
If you have a receipt of sale, please bring that with you.
